Johnny, the lick or embellishment I’m trying to figure out how to play is at this link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EDjraaZ-B8

It’s a 1 hour jive music video and the song is “Go on Fool” by Patti Black – a great tune for dancing. The song starts at 1:34 and the sax break starts at 3:08 and the part I’m interested in is at 3:21 to 3:25 with the main lick at 3:23 if that makes any sense. I’ve heard this played a number of times on other sax breaks and always wanted to learn how it’s done. Any chance you could figure out how that is done?

Thanks in advance if you can provide any insight.

he’s simply going between the Bb up to Eb, back and forth. it helps to scoop, or bend the Bb to get that bluesy effect.
