I get the old warbling sound when I blow low C. Anybody have any ideas?

i have that problem every now and then and in my case it only happens on the low C key. Johnny should have a better idea of what causes it.
Could be any number of issues.

Good Morning sxpoet. I might have a leak some where in the lower keys. I take my sax to the repair man Sunday afternoon. Only one repair person in the Daytona Beach Florida area. He has a one room shack behind his prefab hone in which he repairs horns. He’s busy playing on the road when he’s not working on horns.

have read a remedy is to drop some golf balls in the horn
            you could try that?

or maybe a small flashlight stickytaped to a piece of string
in a dark room, check pads for seal, interesting to find out

Sxpoet, I should know by Monday or Tuesday. Could be a loose screw.

William, you didn’t have this before so I’ll guess it’s a saxophone issue which the repair guy will find.
