when you see a melody written in the lower octave, just play it it the higher octave if you wish. Thats what I do. The notes are the same…are you saying that you need the notes transcribed in the upper octave in order to be able to play those notes?
Sometimes I transcribe a tune in the lower octave and then when I go to record it I’ll jump up the octave to bring more energy to it….simple as that. If you want to emulate what I do then do the same…that’s the best advise I can give.

If you are have difficulty transcribing certain notes that I played in the video just ask me and I’ll let you know what they are.
Most of the tunes I have transcribed pretty close to what I recorded in the video….some of the older ones may be a little different but not much.

I heard Paul say in an interview that he really regretted having Garfunkel do the vocal on that one, wishing later that he had done it instead.
also, Hal Blaine, I’ve watched many videos with him playing on most of the Beach Boy sessions during the 60’s (biggest hits)

I get mine from Nadir in Germany. You can order from him directly. Not sure about the price differences from him directly or the other links that are here.
I was selling them from my site for a while but not in this to be in that business so I just stoped….too much time and hassle with delivery delays and people getting upset etc.
But they are good and I play the MBI mostly and have been for 30 plus years so not just modelling them!
Jody Jazz has some good models too (I tried the Jet and really liked it), and so does Wanne (I have a Durga2 which is decent). I know guys who are constantly shopping for and trying new ones…I don’t have the time and energy for that now. Just glad I’m totally happy with what I got.
But if you’re at the stage where you do have to get something better then do look at the 3 brands I just mentioned. There are more but I haven’t kept up since there are just too many now.
It is worth the struggle tho cause as you probably know by now…your mouthpiece is the one thing that can improve your sound the most.

You don’t need to be a premuim member to access older purchases but yes, we can only go back a few years to the last software change
