Hi Leo, perhaps we should wait and see what happens after January 2025. I have a sneaky feeling that the paths are being prepared now, for the prosecution of the crimes, which have been taking place over the last four years. It’s certainly going to be interesting stuff. At least we’re not living in Germany where you can go to prison for calling a…[Read more]

It’s becoming increasingly important to remain incognito when governments will imprison one for a meme,
joke, criticism, stated truth or wrong political thought.
Or just because they now hate freedom of speech. -

Hi James, only the lemons have the required very low pH to nail the bugs properly.
I can read music but my Ear is terrible at identifying pitch.
My friend plays guitar and has developed the skill of playing the notes on sax that he hears.
He can listen and plays and I have to read music and play.Trying to work out ‘Woke Up Clipped’ via…[Read more]

Hi Guys
Here’s one way you can snooker U-tube.
Use the free Togoda search site, as they don’t track viewers.
You can watch any video from there without BIG BROTHER milking you.
All together YO-HO-HO

Regarding my practices I have a hard time playing the keys with flats.
I think it’s because I been raising all the hymns by 9 notes and I often play with 6#’s.I’m trying to work out this tune to try and play.
Johnny, if you’re watching, hint, hint. 😉

I heard this tip from a microbiologist.
When you feel your throat becoming itchy, sore or scratchy.Take a glass put in a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice, add the same volume of water.
Take a swig and gargle for 15 secs, spit it out and repeat until the liquid is finished.
The pH of the solution is low enough to wipe out the bugs.
When you do…[Read more] -

Hi James
Sounds like you have some counterpoint working there.
I think it needs a last line to finish it off.Rose are red, violets are blue, don’t fire at Putin or he’ll fire at you. 😉

Iyyyyyyyyy like it!
Can’t wait to hear what you add with the Sax.
Here’s what I think of when I hear wake up.
Another cup of coffee and Establishment Blues
I woke up this morning with an ache in my head
I splashed on my clothes as I spilled out of bed
I opened the window to listen to the news
But all I heard was the Establishment’s Blues -

Hi James, I bought a copy of PrintMusic too, but I’m so used to Crescendo I never use it anymore.
I can’t motivate an upgrade when I never assemble backtracks, Pizza regularly, backtracks never.
I’m also pretty practised with a corkscrew and Pinotage – LOL -

Thanks Johnny. I do have a big problem with my airflow, but I am slowly getting better at blowing.
I shall make it my #1 priority. Your evaluation is much appreciated, regards Jeff -

I’m going to try and do a regular upload to make me practice more.
Here’s what I sound like on my YAS-62 with the custom dark MP.

Hi James, I found this quite confusing too. Until I realised that to go from Concert to Eb Alto
you have to raise the notes by nine and for the Bb Tenor sax you have to raise the notes by fourteen.
This is important when wanting to play exactly the same note as the keyboard. -

Hi James
There’s quite an echo there, are you playing in a hall?
I haven’t heard that tune before.

Jeff replied to the topic I am buying a new sax. Any advice on these five models? in the forum Show Us Your Sax 7 months, 3 weeks ago
I wold never describe a Yamaha Sax as fragile. Clearly this chap in the video is sponsored by some another manufacturer. If the Tenor 62 is anything like my Alto 62 it is a very solid build. Even my YAS-26 is very well made and it doesn’t even feature on most rankings. My YAS-62 has more powerful springs, requires more air, but the tone is really…[Read more]
