Pete, exactly, actually feel guilty if i don’t pick up the sax and play a few songs, always striving for a better sound, which is extremely hard to get. experts say
you should find a player (professional) and try to emulate their sound, I work at trying to sound like Johnny that old rock and roll sound.
Playing for people is also important because it requires a lot of practice prior to the show.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you will start up again, I keep the interest going by making videos or playing out in public. Just did a concert and it was fun.
Learning new songs is also helpful and Johnny has quite a collection. At eighty i find it therapeutic feeling a little old, I pick up the sax and make some noise.

Hello everyone, if you want to have a lot of fun playing a song, buy Johnny’s new song pipeline,
the backing track is great and the score is excellent, it brought me back to my early small band days
playing good old “rock and roll”, i am hoping to record it, will be a great addition for my channel.
