Forum thread – empty last page

I would like to report an issue with the forum posts which I find irritating – it could be my PC as I haven’t cleaned the Windows in a while LOL!

When there are more than one page of posts, Win IE takes me to the last page which is empty. It would be better to go to the first post, or if we could click on the second last page of the thread from the thread’s page index. When clicking the most recent forum post link, I often end up on an empty last page and then I have to go to the beginning of the thread and page through the page list until I find the latest post.

Jeff, I get this happening to so I think it’s an issue with this forum program, but will ask my tech about it.
I have just learned to not click the last page when there are multiple pages for now that has to be the only way around it sorry.

Here’s a work-around solution for this problem – when you are shown the annoying empty last page without any posts.

Go to the http address at the top of your Web browser (for example)

https://howtoplaysaxophone.org/forums/topic/major-scale-improvisation-course-coming-soon/page/3

Decrease the last page number by one so it shows (for example)

https://howtoplaysaxophone.org/forums/topic/major-scale-improvisation-course-coming-soon/page/2

Then press ‘Enter’ (and without a lot of clicking around, you have turned back a page)
