"Laughing" on the Saxophone in your recent live video with the band…

Hi Johnny,
On your recent video of you guys playing live I saw a part where you were doing that ‘laughing’ on the Saxophone, really cool thing to do on the Saxophone! What are you doing to get that effect? I’ve seen a few folks do it, Robert De Niro on the movie “New York, New York” did it. Here’s the video clip below of him doing it.

ya it’s a cool little trick which Ive been doing for many years.
hit the note hard and drop your lower lip pressure right away

bend the notes down as you go down the scale chromatically, and breathe as if you are laughing, ha ha ha ha I find a little bit of a growl helps too.
