Hey folks: I have been playing for 3.5 years. I started using synthetic reeds about 2 months in to my playing. They don’t squeak! I use Fibracells, Legers, Plisticovers some time. I have only tossed one in the time I have been using them. I live at 6 thousand feet. Dry! Cane becomes hard to deal with at Alt. I talked to a player in Denver who says the same thing. Steve Goodson thinks there the way to go. He has nationofmusic.com in New Orleans. Sells a bunch of stuff, sax related. I tried a Vandoren a few weeks ago. Not yet??
