So on 27th december i’ll have my first solo with concert band in front of about 300 people. I’ll play song: Sax Appeal by Fernando Francia. I hope everything goes ok. I never played for more than 10 people and i play for only 2,5 years, so i’m a bit nervous. Will share video after concert. Wish me luck.

    sounds great Simon…good luck!
just be as prepared as you can with the music you are playing.
    don’t worry about the audience.

the mans style has alot of fall offs up and down, original version,, this would a a tough one to perfect , if one want to fully copy,

Good Luck Simon, for 2.5 yrs, your sax sound is very good.

Lots of seasoned band musicians place more emphasis on you being in time and don’t care how bad or how good your sax sounds, accompanying bad timing is what frustrates them the most.

Ok, so here is my first solo. I did all my best. Feeling when you play in front of the crowd is fantastic.

your sound has improved from the last time I heard you! this is great…
it came out very strong and I could tell you really worked on everything.
next time think about your music stand position. it’s almost staight up and down and so your sax is blowing right into it and blocking a little of the sound. a slight angled positioning would help that and you would still be able to read just the same.
this point is not related you your performance and something most people woupdn’t think of
