Thanks for the reply Pete! I have heard (seen) Aubra play Misty along with many other tunes on his Conn tenor. I’m sure Mr. Graves is still playing at 92 but I believe his sons recorded most of them when he was in his mid 80’s…for sure an inspiration to keep playing! Hey Johnny….great idea with coming out with 2 versions on Imagine. I was actually thinking that same thing with your previous song “Misty.” I really like your upbeat version of this classic ballad. But I also very much like the full ballad version as well. Any chance of you providing a 2nd version of “Misty” too? Thanks!
