It is kind of sad that so many have stopped using the forum, seems that the interest is gone and that is to bad, enjoyed some of the players learned a lot here. We seem to be the “last of the mohicans”. Hoping in the fall people will return.

Hi there James, working on Johnny’s recent offering “Sonny” pretty tricky song with four key changes, one of which flattens every note that was the tough part, but almost ready to record it. It is a real challenge. Stay tuned!

Great tone, pretty good on the clarinet, nice job

I have to admit, i do not play the sheet exactly as written, I like to change octaves, add notes or skip notes, figure it makes the song a bit more mine.

I did a little better on the general knowledge part but not too good on the name the players part. got about 150 points.
the only style i try to copy is Johnny’s my favorite.

Me neither and I never thought there were so many people still playing saxophone out there, especially when you listen to the current music of today hardly a saxophone to be found.
