well i normally use a Java 2 or a V16 1.5— i got a soft, i was considering a med soft but went soft based on your findings , we will see, did you like it

sand out the shank of the JJ, but i believe you can just play it in tune by your air, personally i never use a tuner, it very rarely comes out right anyway, any slight airflow and its out of tune by a few cents, personally i like flat tuning, i can bring it in tune

a little salty on the echo, honestly, in my humble opinion, a sax does not need echo,or much of anything, is it a pure instrument , it represents itself——— unlike an electrical guitar or synthesizer -food for thought

i am not a soprano player , but i would gather you need some mouthpiece experiments, its a bright instrument, so i would go with dark wide bore mps, then if needed you can brighten it up with reeds or mouth—an instrument that bight can be taken to places you don’t want to go—you need to tame it
