Wow, I love the Sound of the Tenor. Still looking around to find the most appropiate MP. Does anyone knows with MP he is playing? With MP would give the most similar Sound ?

Let’s suppose the Base Key is C . So C minus 6 would be #F (sharp)
Or G minus 6 would be #C (sharp)

Am I right ? So this would be the tune piano plays. But now what about Tenorsax ?

Indeed, it’s confusing but I hope now you see what I mean…

Sorry, yes it’s the F#. I have a F# key on my Tenor but will check out the Altissimo Course.
              Thanks a lot …

Hi Johnny ! I’ve got quite the same problem like George posted above. I’m still trying to find the right MP to get the real nasty Blues and Rock’n’Roll Sound (like you have). For the moment I’m playing a Yamaha 4 & 6. Got me an Otto Link 6 but still not satisfied.
Unfortunatly my Sax supplier(s) doesn’t deliver Guardala MP. Guess I need to check via Amazon or similar sources. Which Guardala MP would you recommend ? Thanks a lot for your information. brgds Klaus

I tried several MP’s which were available in my favorite Sax shop and finally landed at Otto Link 6 .
But honestly I’m still not satisfied. Still looking for a more ‘nasty’ Sax sound.
I’ ve never tried a Guardala but it seems that should be the one. Unfortunatly they are not available at my Sax supplier and the price is somewhat quit high what I’ ve seen on Amazon.
