Thanks SXPoet for the info. Johnny I had most of Aebersold’s books but they got left on the moving van in the move to New Mexico. 2-5-1 has always been a “how do I use the 2-5-1. How does it fit in with the “Rolling Stones Medley?”

I’m working on Jennifer Rush”s “The Power of Love”. On the first repeat Jennifer sings a verse that is not in any sheet music of “The Power of Love”

So the household doesn’t want to hear “Take The Ribbon From My Hair”. No more. I have to play a song over and over to get it right, counting the notes. I don’t hear a drummer. 1st note or rest in each measure gets the down beat. I have to hum or sing the song to get it right.
