This one was recorded with different mpc. I can record again with my ‘regular mpc’ and other reed and see if any difference. Btw, should i play like i would on stage when recording or hold back a little? I always wonder if it will be too much if i go too powerfull when recording.

Thanks Johnny. I guess this will work if i play A major blues scale? But i have A minor blues scale- notes are A,C,D,D#,E,G. I would like to use blueberry hill melody for improvisation. So i guess i need to start on A and transpose all notes 7 semi tones higher? I’m kinda lost on all this transposing, hahaha.

Thanks Johnny. Well Regular F fingering is perfect in tune, but If i press low Bb and play overtone F, then that F is sharp. I can now get High notes in tune, but i need huge air pressure and very low pressure on lips, but tone is not really strong and clean then. I’ll kepp practising and see how it will go.

OK, i have a problem with my palm key notes being sharp. If i play with yamaha custom 4cm mouthpiece i’m perfect in tune on high D to high F#. But when i play with high baffle mpc i’m sharp as hell up there. No matter what i do i can’t lower pitch on that notes. I can make them even sharpier, but can’t lower them. Thanks Johnny. I can play F# and then G with no problem. And i can also play scale up to G and then down, but when i play song, well then that G don’t show up. Don’t know why. Maybe i need to practice song at slower tempo without backingtrack. And maybe from F# to G without tonguing that G.

Ok, i’m stuck on that altissimo G. Can’t go higher than that and i can’t hit altissimo G in song. I can hit it right away, but when i tried to play sound of silence octave higher( second part of song like Johnny did) and i need to hit that high G, it just don’t come out of horn. Any sugestions?

I think you need some time to get used to new mouthpiece.
