Nice James. I’ve found the vocal processors I’ve played with work well with sax. The guitar pedals not so much. I use a boss ve-20 and play around with a vocal 300. Tons of options on those devices. I really only want to add some reverb and a lil delay. Does the mic mechanic have both of those? Def a nice option for keeping it compact!…[Read more]

I recorded with my iPhone and edited through filmora 9. I like filmora. It’s a 1 time price very reasonable not subscription based. Pretty easy to use. Check out you tube for help as well. Works for what I want to do with videos and music.

There are many play along versions of songs like are describing on you tube. They are not Johnny quality as they seem midi based but the notes play and a bar follows along while the note is played. There are various tunes out there. just search sax play along. just indicate alto or tenor for you preferred key.

Nice one James. I still remember back when you first joined here! Major improvements. Love seeing that with our members over the years!! Sound and Video editing can be difficult to get a hold of as well. But when we are at that stage, we must be doing something right with our playing by then!! Good One!

Started this project Thursday! I need a class in video editing. Not the end result I was looking for but really its all about the music anyways. Happy with my sound progression. Needed to work on my alto to make it stand up to my tenor so that was good! Learned some things in the process as far as video recording…[Read more]

WOW. Love the copper reeds for my tenor. I did find that the sound was much more of what I was looking for when I paired it with my metal FB mouthpiece tho. I am still waiting on shipment to try on my alto. I currently use a Vandoren JumboA45 for the alto. Wonder how this MP will stack up?? Will be interesting to see how they compare. To be…[Read more]
