‘G’ Thanks James
Just what I was looking for to get me Altissimo G working and a few different options to try to.
When you are trying something new, we have to find that narrow ledge we can cling to, until we get stronger at climbing the altissimo cliff. -

Hi James, it looks quite comprehensive. One thing that helps the viewer when putting in a link.
Check the box which says, ‘Open link in a new tab’ then the viewer does not lose their place in the discussion.Beverly wanted to know where the box was for ability to grow broad beans – lol.
We use cane reed stalks in the garden for climbing frames…[Read more] -

Hi Mike, there’s some wonderful shots of the countryside and birdlife there. The music sounds great and it’s very entertaining, well done.

Hi Pete, a nice mellow tune. Well done!
James, that super talented chap should have called himself ‘The Splatters’, as he was all over the place and it was Only Him 🙂

Yeah! Why would I want a facehook or to be a Twit-for? I only have one rule and that’s no financial transactions online, via smartphone or with my primary Dedit Card. If I do transfer funds it’s an ETF transfer in person at the bank. You can’t be too careful these days.

I don’t understand how youtube can have whole albums of artists, which you can record (pirate) and other sites get upset when you just play a familiar tune.
One way around the lunacy is to get your own website and you can place whatever you record there.
They aren’t expensive these days if you don’t go for a high storage space option. -

Thanks James you can really here the difference here. I love the woody sound around 3:40 which is a little like an oboe. I find his Jazz tone a bit brash to my liking.
I’ve asked Beverly for a big box of these fine notes for Christmas. If I can ever sound like that, I will be most contented. Cheers -

I have no problem warming up. I have a problem keeping cool when it’s 31°C and whilst I’m playing the perspiration is dripping from my elbows in 2/4 time.

James to be honest I’m not worried about tone so much at this stage. I’m focussed on tuning, timing and smooth fingering of the notes. When I can do that properly then I’ll worry more about the style of playing i.e. classical or jazz style.

That’s why Pink Floyd keep re-releasing Dark Side Of The Moon. It appeals to the newer generations too. I think we’re on the downhill slope of creativity now.

Thanks James, I guess I shouldn’t ever mention my sub-student YAS-26 again! I do think that if I had bought a 280 first, I never would have acquired the 62.
When I saw the prices of the 82Z I thought how bad can the 62 really be, and can I justify the additional cost? There is such a tone change from the MP’s on the 26 I doubt if anyone would know…[Read more] -

There’s a good reason why the olde bands of yesteryear are still touring. Either the IQ of the listener has crashed or todays music has nothing of true value to offer. In time the slow public will come to realise that good music requires professional live musicians with performance skills, and not just a DJ programmer with a synth. Keep practicing guys.
